This is the only category of products in the Shop where it's really not feasible for me to speak from personal experience. And even if it were, in this murky area of nutrition of and nutritional supplementation, without dry eye studies and/or overwhelming anecdotal evidence from users, I think it would be irresponsible of me to hazard any suggestions about potential results as regards improving dry eye specifically. So, I'm limiting myself to general observations about what the product was like for me for however long I took it (if at all). Anyway, here are my "added value" comments for what they are worth.
This is the product I've been recommending as a replacement for Dry Vites (which have been discontinued). It's a similar concept - a convenient fish and flaxseed oil blend, with the addition of some borage oil. I took Total Omega for some months after discontinuing Dry Vites and like it better because it has quite a bit higher EPA/DHA, is better made and packaged (carob light-blocking casing and the lemony flavor masking overt fishiness, etc) and like Dry Vites has the low vitamin E content. I never got fishburps from Total Omega capsules.
By the way, the dark coating on the capsule makes them LOOK larger than regular fish oil capsules but trust me, I've measured them and they are not.
All in all, if you want fish plus flax and you don't want to take a zillion capsules a day, I consider this a convenient high-quality way to go.
