Note from Rebecca: I have worn Boston Sclerals successfully since June 2006 for both vision and dry eye. You can read more about my experiences on Dry Eye Talk. It is an exciting and novel treatment modality. These lenses should be considered by severe dry eye patients who have exhausted conventional treatment options and who are facing surgery, vision loss or severely impacted activities as a result of their condition.

Boston Sclerals are currently available only from the Boston Foundation for Sight, a wonderful facility with a top-notch staff in Needham MA. A satellite clinic is being set up at Baylor in Houston, TX and another is expected in 2009 at the Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles.
