![]() Escape Sleep Mask$20.00 -- Top choice for those who do not want anything touching their eyelids. Choice of 4 colors.Click on picture to see specially shaped reverse side. PRODUCT FEATURES • Interior eye chamber ensures no pressure on the eyes PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The "Escape" is a beautiful mask with an attractive soft velour exterior. A key feature of this mask, other than its generally high quality, comfortable construction, is the cut-outs for the eyes that ensure no pressure is placed on the eyes at all. (Click on the picture to see reverse side.) This makes it eminently suitable for those who have avoided night eyewear because of discomfort to the lids. REBECCA’S REVIEW Overall assessment: For those who want effective protection from drafts & evaporation, yet without anything touching their lids, this product is an excellent option. Some people simply remove the moisture pads from a Tranquileyes goggle, but this may perhaps give them better protection. Also, for those who have trouble keeping Tranquileyes due to the stretchy strap, on they may find Dream Essentials' snugger fitting straps useful, too. This is a nice looking mask and thoroughly comfortable. Personal experience: For my own use I prefer something that helps hold my lids closed. But for those who do not need, or want, anything touching their lids, I think it's an excellent product and thus far it's our top-selling sleep mask. As a scleral lens wearer, the main use I would personally have for this mask is in-flight: I can't actually nap with my lenses in, but I don't like taking them out in airports or planes, and I seem to be constantly dosing with drops when I have my sclerals in in-flight. With the eye cutouts of this mask, I can wear it while wearing my lenses, and keep my eyes open inside the mask while listening to music or something. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SIZE: Like most sleep masks in the $20+ market this mask is quite broad, and because of its design it is somewhat less flexible than other types. Suits me perfectly but I've had customers who described it as far too large for them. So ladies, if you have a small or narrow face this is probably not going to be the right mask for you. Try the Contour for another vaulting-style mask. Who am I? My name is Rebecca Petris and I have had chronic dry eye since undergoing LASIK in July 2001. I founded The Dry Eye Company as a result of my experiences, hoping to make useful information and effective products more accessible to others with dry eye.
