PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Viento model belongs to the Velocity FX (fixed eyecup) SR100 family of Panoptx eyewear, which has long been a favorite with dry eye patients. The Orbital Seal™ design follows every contour of the face to create a seal around the eyes. This seal forms a microenvironment around the eyes, trapping moisture and keeping wind and common airborne irritants away from the eyes. The Orbital Seal™ foam padding is attached directly to the Viento frame.

The Viento has always been popular with people who have small faces. However, it's no longer being manufactured. The only other frame with a "fixed" (built-in) eyecup is the Cyclone, which is available only in the 24:7 (light-adjusting) lens. There is also a new style called Bali which is coming out in April 2008 which should be in a similar size to the Solano and Cyclone, but with a removeable eyecup.
