NOTE

The foam pictured is the lined foam, which has a sheer soft fabric lining on the top and bottom. The adhesive is on the reverse side. The unlined 'sensitive skin' foam is similar but does not have the lining.

PRODUCT FEATURES

• Made of Visco-elastic foam that contours to face
• Comes with or without soft fabric cover
• Each set lasts for 60 applications
• Hypoallergenic and easy to clean

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Every set includes a pair of foam eye cushions (the part that sticks onto the goggle) and a pair of moisture pads (the removeable part that you get wet).

Which type do I get? The "Lined" foam is the standard type in the Mini, Basic and Deluxe kits. The "Unlined" (or "sensitive skin" foam) is the standard type in the Chronic Dry Eye kit. You can use either type of foam with the goggle. Both types are fine for most users; some users have a strong preference for one type or the other.

User tip: When removing the UNLINED foam cushions from the goggle to put new ones on, pull them very slowly. The faster you pull, the more likely it is to leave residue behind. If residue is left on the goggle, use a little rubbing alcohol or a detergent to remove it. Make sure it's quite clean and dry before applying a new set of foam.

REBECCA’S REVIEW

People have strong opinions about their foam! Some people swear by the lined foam, some by the unlined. I've not seen any obvious pattern as to why. The lined foam is definitely easier to remove, but personally I have always used the unlined "sensitive eyes" foam which I find more comfortable.

Update Oct 2007: New foam is here! The new foam is very dark (nearly black) and very, very soft. If you use the lined foam you won't see much difference but the unlined foam is noticeably softer than it used to be... I am really liking it. If you've never tried it, now's your chance. Remember, you can always mix & match foam on request.
