REBECCA’S REVIEW

This is one of those "simple idea that works" things.

Many people in our online support group (Dry Eye Talk) describe the relief they get with "icing" their eyes periodically. It seems to be particularly beneficial to those with chronic eyelid inflammation, tired, sore eyes, or chronic redness. This compress is handy and comfortable. It's a stiffer than fabric-wrapped compresses so it will need a little help conforming over the eyes but the nice thing about it is that unlike those soothers that barely cover the eyeballs, this is quite wide, so it will cover all the area around the eyes and touch on the forehead and temples for all-over cold... nice for migraines too. (If you want something smaller but still with good overall coverage, try the Monarch - same bead concept, but smaller and much more fluid in a silk and cotton cover.)

If you like the feel of cold directly on your eyes you'll want to use it on its own but some people will prefer the comfort cover so the plastic is not directly on their skin.
