It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Rebecca enjoyed some great views approaching Reykjavik (Iceland) for a brief stopover on the way home from a work trip (Foundation, not shop) to Ireland.

After spending too much money on Christmas trees the past couple years, we decided to hit Olympic National Forest with a $5 tree permit.  The weather was clear and we got to peek at different parts of the Olympic range. Unfortunately, most of the trees we passed driving down the forest road were spindly ones growing close together. We ended up finding a decent one that had branches that grow mostly out of on half of the tree.  And a pic of Aura and her mom Viva from last weekend!

Took a walk to Kitsap Memorial State Park this weekend, about 90 minutes round trip from my house!  Mt Baker and the Hood Canal Bridge from Lofall road Olympics from the old ferry dock Olympics from Kistap Memorial - I love the view of Lofall and the dock to the south Eagle sighting on the way back And a view in downtown Poulsbo from the middle of this week. The fall leaves make every drive around here gorgeous!
